SELF DEFENCE WORKSHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
The booking conditions and general information set out below are designed to outline our obligations to you and your commitments to us as clearly as possible. All Bookings are made subject to availability. Confirmation will be given that your chosen date is available. A certain amount of time is allocated to each session and therefore we will always start at the time advertised. If you are more than 15-20 minutes late it may not be possible for you to participate in the workshop as the workshop instructor would have to go over the same material again which is
unfair to the other workshop participants.
MARKETING & PROMOTION
From time to time images and videos may be taken of workshops and events to which I agree we can use for promotional purposes indefinitely.
PAYMENT
Payment in full is required to reserve your place on a course. Until full payment is received the space on the course will remain open to other participants unless previously organised.
EQUIPMENT
Materials will be provided where stated. Equipment is also provided when pre-arranged. Some safety equipment may be available but it is up to your organisation or participants to organise specific equipment for individuals.
CANCELLATIONS
Shizoku Martial Arts reserves the right to cancel any workshop; in the event of the workshop being cancelled a full refund of workshop fees will be given. We will not be held responsible for any additional costs such as travel and accommodation. Workshops cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control e.g adverse weather conditions, power outages etc. will also be eligible for refund of workshop fees only.
Cancellation fees:
A $25 administration fee will be charged for bookings cancelled by you up to 72 hours before the workshop.
A $50 administration fee will be charged for bookings cancelled by you 48 hours before the workshop.
No refunds will be given for bookings cancelled by you 24 hours before the workshop or non attendance on the day.
HEALTH & SAFETY
I understand self defence is a contact activity that carries with it a degree of risk of injury during training as well as close body contact at times. I hereby agree to follow the instructions of Shizoku Martial Arts management, instructors and staff assuming all inherent risk associated with my organisations, staff, members, or my child(s) participation in this type of training.
I will immediately notify Shizoku Martial Arts limited management if I become aware of any person with whom my members, staff have had contact with that exhibits any of the symptoms listed in relation to COVID-19, is advised to self-isolate, quarantine, or has tested positive, or is presumed positive for COVID-19 within 10 days either side of the workshop. Further, I will immediately notify Shizoku Martial Arts Limited management if anyone from my place of employment is presumed positive or tests positive for COVID-19
whether or not I have had direct contact with that person.
I understand that participants will be in contact with children, families and employees who are also at risk of community exposure. I understand that no list of restrictions, guidelines or practices will remove 100% of the risk of exposure to COVID-19 as the virus can be transmitted by persons who are asymptomatic and before some people show signs of infection. I understand that my organisation plays a crucial role in keeping everyone in the facility safe and reducing the risk of exposure by following the practices outlined herein.
